When I Go Fishing

This is a painting of a very good friend of mine. I was attracted to this because it is another depiction of a Black man doing something not typically associated with Black manhood, deep-sea fishing.  For years, his goal eluded him.  Finally, he catches this big tuna!  I wanted to celebrate this moment for him. I created a beautiful background to further commemorate the special occasion.
